PROFESSIONAL RATES

PROCEDURES
My professional counseling rate is kept low, so you can afford it: just $120 per hour, charged to your Visa or MasterCard. For example, if it takes me ten minutes to read and reply to your question, your cost is just $20. If you want to be sure you don't go over budget, simply tell me what your limit is - and you can never be billed for more than the amount you set.
If you want to remain anonymous, it is not necessary for you to tell me your real name, even though you use a credit card. I understand that the issues you need to deal with may be nearly impossible for you to be open about under your actual name. So, if you prefer, give me an alternate "working" name when you give me your credit card information.
To initiate a counseling session with me, most of my clients simply click on:

Others of my online clients prefer to give their credit card information directly to me by telephone (812/473-5117). You may safely leave your credit card information on my password-secure voice mail at any time, or leave it with me personally during normal business hours.
Or, if you prefer, you may purchase counseling vouchers, in one-hour ($120) increments, by check or money order. Please make your check or money order payable to Compassionate Counsel. You may mail your check or money order to:

As soon as I receive your money order or your check has cleared, I will send you an E-mail voucher good for the amount of counseling time you have purchased. Any unused portion will be promptly refunded, at your E-mail request.
Do you want to be sure I'm really who I say I am before you trust me with your check or credit card information? I don't blame you one bit. Here are some suggestions, any of which will provide you with the independent corroboration you require:
1. You may use your telephone company: Phone 1-812/555-1212. Ask for Schwambach, Judith PhD. The operator will give you the number. Check it against the one I have given you and you will find they are one and the same: 812/473-5117.
2. Call the Scripps-Howard Evansville Courier newspaper Info-Touch line: 812/422-1234, Ext. 1037. This is the official response line of the newspaper, made available only to their writers and columnists...and there I'll be.
3. If you want to go to extraordinary lengths, you may order a copy of the Scripps-Howard newspaper (The Evansville Courier & Press) that carries my column in non-electronic form. Simply call 1-800-288-3100 and order any Monday's newspaper. When it arrives, you may turn to the Tempo Section and read my current column, which runs with my picture.
Simply put, I have a local, national and international reputation to uphold. My books are all over the world. If I abuse my client's trust with a check or credit card, I will lose my column and future book opportunities. Without a sterling reputation, my counseling practice will disappear.
Of all the counselors out there, you won't find one safer to work with than I. Of all the counselors who are beginning to make their services available online, you will not find one who has bent over backwards any farther, to enable you to receive the online counseling you need with absolute confidence.
